Rose Johnson – Foot Reconstruction

“I used orthotics for 15 years to try to mask the pain from a pronated ankle. Surgery wasn’t even an option – I couldn’t imagine being laid up for months and months. But then I heard a ‘pop’ when I planted my foot during a league bowling game, and I knew something bad had happened. Not knowing what to expect, I told them that the only thing I wanted to do was walk with my grandkids. Now I can do that – and a whole lot more. And in regular shoes!”

During surgery, OSC was able to reconstruct the arch of Rose’s foot and correct a number of other problems with her foot and ankle. Rose has now lost nearly 100 lbs and is able to participate in all the activities she enjoys.
