He maintains an active presence in clinical research, and has been published in numerous orthopaedic journals and texts. He is also a pioneer in the use of kinematic alignment in knee replacement. As the first surgeon to use advanced bearings in hip replacement in Spokane, as well as hip resurfacing and computer-assisted surgery, his research-based expertise continues to bring to Orthopaedic Specialty Clinic of Spokane the latest in medical advances in orthopaedic medicine. He also places a strong emphasis on biologic reconstruction alternatives to joint replacement such as cartilage and meniscus replacement.
My doctor recommended Dr. Scott for a total knee replacement. He said that he specializes in the arthritic knee. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Scott! He sure knows what he’s doing and I would recommend him to all of my friends!

Over the years, my wife has had two total knee replacements and a total hip replacement with Dr. Scott. After hearing her describe how he ‘walks on water,’ I wouldn’t have imagined having anyone else replace my knee. I’m glad we have such a great surgeon in Spokane.
