“It all started when I fell off of a ladder while working on my roof. I knew I had hurt my arm, but I could move everything so I thought it was ok. The original diagnosis from the doctor in my hometown was that it was not broken, but the pain continued so my doctor sent me to OSC. By the time I got there, they were surprised at the first diagnosis. My elbow and thumb were shattered. They told me I needed surgery immediately. Luckily, they fixed me up. Now I’m able to do anything I was able to do before surgery.”
OSC operated on Owen’s arm the day after diagnosing the injury. Although other doctors had missed the fracture, OSC was able to repair Owen’s arm and send him on the road to recovery.
